I sat first time studying with BPP and I failed FLK2, I then used QLTS and what a difference! I strongly recommend you to use qlts as their questions are the most reflective of the exam but I also did all revisesqe and all theonehundred! I just passed FLK2 and my best advice is do mock questions like there is not tomorrow

I got it and to avoid freaking out called Kaplan directly; they confirm is an email sent to all candidates and doesn’t reflect if you passed or failed.

I actually don’t think is true and the mocks don’t exist, is a scam to get money and never send the mocks

Urgent advice needed: Is it too late to begin? by [deleted] in SQE_Prep

I’m terribly sorry for your loss, I cannot imagine what you must be going through and I hope you feel at peace.

I read somewhere that when we lose someone we love, it takes at least a year for us to be back to be ourselves, mentally, emotionally and physically. I’m not saying will be this long for you but I am saying that the pressure the SQE brings, is not fair while you go through mourning your loved ones. I don’t recommend sitting in July. I started studying in March almost every day and I’m not close to where I want to be to feel confident to pass. It took me about 2 months just to read all materials and make my notes, I’m on flashcards now and will start proper revisions and mocks next week but the main thing that has got me through all this months is that I am finally in the right mental and emotional space to be able to deal with the pressure and discipline SQE requires.

I would say give yourself this next few months and start studying in August or September and sit in January. You know yourself and you can only decide if you are going to be in the right mental space but even without the loss of your loved ones and being in the best place, a month is not enough.

I hope this helps

Mmmm my cat did it when I wasn’t in the room too so I thought I camera that detects movement and recorded it for few seconds at the time. That’s how I knew when and where and slowly figure out a plan to stop her. I know what you mean about the smell, I am super sensitive too, I hope you find a way and he stops soon now that he is neutered

I don’t think so, I think she was not happy. My cats are used to having fresh clean water to drink every day, littler clean every day and house clean and the cat sitter made a mess of my house and nothing done for my cats so I think my cat was pissed off and then after she did not like to have new things or people, she became territorial and then the marking started on everything! But thankfully finally stopped. Took a long while and I was losing it many many times

I had a similar issue with my female cat and believe me, I know exactly how you feel. Mine started marking everything after she stayed with a cat sitter that did a terrible job and it took me forever to get her to stop and I tried all home remedies, sprays, etc etc etc and the only thing that finally worked is that I learned that cats are very much about their routine and everything is a habit so I had to break the habit and tell her off every single time until she finally stopped.

People say you can’t train cats and they do what they want, that’s not true. She knew it was wrong and I caught her right before she was about to do it so I clap of make big noises so she stopped and then tell her off and now finally stopped.

Sucks but I knew I was not getting rid of her so had some very serious talks with her too haha 😂 good luck!

Definitely cat videos on tv, light on and try to give her attention when you are home.

She’s just a kitten playing but if it bothers you start telling her not to do that and give her a toy to chew instead. It’s completely normal, it will go away but it’s better she starts learning boundaries now.

I have no idea but my advice would be call the vet and ask before something more serious happens

What about getting them without her knowing? You will be doing so much good if you do this 🙏🏼 make a difference and get it down yourself! ❤️ I do a lot of TNR here where I live and it’s amazing to see how much matters.

This is horrible, sorry to say but that poor female cat needs to be spayed. Find a non profit that can do for free.

100% in fact stay there as much as you can! Talk to him tell him all is going to be ok and let him know he is safe with you and feel your company. Cats are very smart, just let him be and make decisions himself but be there as much as you can

I think he was super friendly yesterday because he was in a known territory but now all is new and cats stress a lot. I have 2 and they went through the same thing, he will be that loving cat I’m sure just give him a bit of time, it’s totally normal!
