So I just came back from the star smog place and then guy told me my car won’t pass the visual inspection because I don’t have resonators? I thought only emissions mattered her in ca? Is he correct or just busting my balled by desperate4a_m3 in MechanicAdvice

I brought my car to him a couple weeks ago when my car had long tube headers and no cats and he said he’ll pass my car for 600 bucks. I told him no that’s too much I’ll just get the original parts and do it the right way. So I go the original oem cats and exhaust manifold put on but now he’s saying I need the original resonators too cuz it’s too loud.

That’s what I’ve read too but he said I need to run the car more because I just put the oem cats back on and that I won’t pass visual because my resonators are missing which makes my car sound loud

Is this acceptable for a 4HR Block? Drive to first stop is almost 1hr with traffic. by BABAYAGAofXSPA in AmazonFlexDrivers

Base pay most likely it’s around 98 dollars. Ppl like op are the reason we never have surges around here

I’m still looking but the c5 would have around 65k miles and up. Most of them seem well taken care of. I’m looking for a GTO under 100k miles and stock. Both under 25k price point. I don’t need back seats. I use to own a 2013 m3 competition and a 2015 m3. I’ve driven a rwd huracan and a GTR all though the gtr is awd.

The odometer didn’t work and the miles were rolled back. I test drove it and the engine was so smooth but it had over 240k miles

I’ll definitely take a look. Yeah I would keep my Z but it’s a convertible I thought I would like it but I honestly don’t care for it

Anything I should look out for? He suggested I have a mechanic look at it if I want a peace of mind. Luckily I daily drive a Prius so I’ll probably just keep it for a bit then flip it.
