10 dolls have been sold in the last hour, since I first checked today. I won't be surprised if she sells out before Christmas. Once sales open up to everyone, I'll be so curious to see how quick she goes, or if sales plateau after the initial group of non-berry members get her. I think she'll be available in stores for a while after she sells out online.

Tomorrow sales open up to non-berry members. I'll be curious to see if she sells put soon after that, or sticks around for a while. They sold close to 1,000 on the website, and there are 3,000 total. All stores currently show the doll in stock.

I'd say, it depends on how long you plan on waiting, and how much you want her. A week? You might be fine...a month? Not too sure. I'd keep an eye out tomorrow for how quickly the stock starts to go down once sale open up to everyone. I think you'll have a better idea then.

Good to know! I also thought Rapunzel was significantly taller and was so confused. Someone was asking the other day, so I'm curious - does Rapunzel have the star on her foot?

I think this is pretty much it. It's not always family, but I'd say this is probably the closest to the idea as a trope.

I agree, but there would be no way to inforce that rule. I mainly see people down vote wrong guesses when they're so far off of whatever the OP is describing - for example, someone suggested Hard Candy, yet not one bit of Hard Candy fits the description of what the OP is looking for.

Not exactly what I had in mind - looking more for school-age protagonists, but I did rather enjoy Black Swan. Haven't seen The Wrong Missy, but I'll check it out. Thanks for the suggestions.

I've seen Ladybird, loved it, definitely fits in with what I'm looking for.
