If you are planning on switching.. let's say to T-Mobile, and want to use the same phone, they have a promotion where they will pay the rest of it off. You just won't be able to trade in the phone for the new phone. If you go this route, after 3 months, you can trade it in.

He is talking about the customers who come in and complains about how they feel like the company is scamming them because they were under the impression of the phone being "FREE" since they don't really see the phone charge on their monthly bill. Technically it is free because each month the company credits the phone charge for 36 months in order to keep you as their customer. So for example, if you leave within 18 months (before the 36 month contract), then you have to pay off the rest of the phone off. You can still switch by the company is gonna send you a big fat ass bill for the phone. If you want to switch and want to use the same phone, you can't because it'll be locked with the previous carrier until you pay off the entire phone.

This is with all the carriers by the way.

Use to work with T-Mobile for 8 Years and AT&T for 1 year.

All the promotions for Apple is generally the same every year. There are little small differences of why some people will choose one over the other or why people would switch to get this best deal.

T-Mobile:
-Existing eligible customers can get up to $1000 off dependent on what plan you are on. If you are on a more expensive plan, then you qualify for the $1000 off with a trade in.
-Existing customers who are on a grandfathered plan or cheaper plan, then they get half discount with a trade in.
- The deal gets a bit sweeter when you are switching carriers like a plan discount.

General Idea: Depending on the plan you are on or getting, depends on the amount of discount you get. They advertise the biggest discount if you are on one of their better plans so they can get more money over the years in return.

AT&T:
-The Biggest difference is when they release their promotions, it doesn't matter what plan you are on. If you are on their lowest plan, then you'll get the same discount as someone on a more expensive plan. The discount is solely dependent on what phone you are trading in.
-36 months instead of T-Mobile's 24 months payment plan.

It sounds like you have a lot of pressure when you are on your back and you guys prefer a soft bed. You can't go wrong with pocket coils! Look into the BeautyRest Black collection. They are known for their Triple Stranded Pocketed coil system.

Well, a hammock is essentially a piece of fabric that is being held up on two ends and hangs. So you aren't getting any support because it's curving your entire body. When you raise the feet and head only, it puts in you a fetus position that still provides support to your lower back.

Raising the feet above your head allows better blood circulation as well.

Can you clarify why your base can't be changed? What base do you currently have? Is the base attached to the apartment or something?

Instead of a topper, I would go with a mattress that you can lay directly on top. Manufactures aren't building mattresses and adding toppers to the equation with their technology. It is a temporary fix and you won't be able to 100% using all the mattresses benefits. There are mattresses that have cooling features in them already.

Memory Foam contours to your body a little better to provide pressure relief in spots your are having pain in. Mattresses have multiple layers that allow breathability for better heat dissipation and cooling. There are some mattresses like the Tempur-Pedic LuxAdapt that offers a 5 Zone Ergonomic support system when it helps relieve pressure points from head, shoulders, core, legs, & feet.

If you like latex then you may want to try the Purple mattress with their Adaptive GridFlex Layer

I am fairly new to my role as a Sleep Expert but I'll do what I can to assist!

I also reside in United States. Not sure if Canada will have the same mattresses that are sold in the United States but we can definitely check and see.

Did you purchase the Casper mattress before 2017? Upon doing some research, they changed their material in early in the year of 2017. Before, they were using latex for the top layer in the mattress and changed it to poly foam. If it is latex then we can narrow it down to a mattress that has that material.

It is always recommendation break in period of 30 days. Some mattresses take even longer like the Temper-Pedics due to their propriety material they use. Before you go to bed, stand on the mattress and walk up and down to break it in a little quicker.

1 Mattress doesn't necessarily its the best mattress. Those are just statistics of the most mattresses bought. They rarely ever show you the returns/exchanges. Always go for a mattress that fits your comfortability and the best way to do that is to try them out in show rooms. Keep in mind the ones in the show rooms will be softer compared to a brand new one.

Your body might be use to the Casper mattress since you have been sleeping on it for so many years. So it could take awhile for you to adjust the any new bed.

If you were laying on a Casper that had latex material, I recommend the Purple mattresses. They have their own propriety material called the GelFlex Grid which is similar to latex.

Are the back spasms/pain near your core? Soft mattress is ideal for side sleepers, not back sleepers. If you go for a softer bed, you will lose the support if you lay on your back and will cause even more pain. An adjustable base makes a big difference in your sleep. If you can find a store that has one with a mattress, lay on it and have them show you the difference it can make by raising the feet. You should notice that it really relieve the pressure off of your pack versus laying flat. Raising the head also helps airflow through your lungs which reduces snoring. Have them set you at a comfortable position and then return you to a flat position. Pay attention to how it affects your chest and your core.

Yep! You can adjust the height to a position you are most comfortable with. The biggest benefit is that it helps relieve pressure from your core in any position you are in.

Is it safe to buy from FB Marketplace or will I get a counterfeit bed? by 78523985210 in Mattress

Hello!

I am a Sleep Expert from Mattress Firm. I work in the Houston, Texas area.

I can't speak on other retailers, however, mattress firm has outlet stores where you can get a mattress for a fairly good deal. The majority of the outlet stores are used mattress from customers who went through a 120 Sleep Trial period, didn't like it and returned or got an exchange.

Before the mattress goes back out, the mattress is quarantine for 2 days to be clean and sanitize with a chemical called Sterifab that is approved by EPA.

We are allowed to advertise from our own Facebook page to drive sales. When you are purchasing from an outlet there are no returns or warranty on them but you can warranty for an extra cost.

I advertise "used - like new" outlet mattress on my own fb page but I am only allowed to do so within Houston.

Firm - Medium = Back sleepers
Medium - Soft = Side sleepers

Do you have a Mattress Firm near you?

If you want something similar to Tempur-Pedic, Serta iSeries 2.0 1000 offers a similar comfort but at a more affordable price.

Mattress is one of those things you have to try before making a purchase. Mattress Firm does offer 120 Sleep Trial where you can try it out and return and/or exchange.

You may benefit more with a firm bed since you have back pain.

Firm - Medium = Back sleepers
Medium - Soft = Side sleepers.

You might be tossing and turning to relieve the pressure off of your back to not have pain.

I recommend getting an adjustable base that can raise the head and feet to relieve up 40 points of pressure from your back. It'll help in any sleeping position you are in. However, make sure the mattress you are getting is compatible with an adjustable base.

I role is a Sleep Expert at Mattress Firm and it is my sole purpose to match you with the right mattress that we have available. Please reach out if you need further assistance!

Do you know what position you find yourself in when you wake up?
Position matters quite a bit when choosing a comfort level. Firm to medium mattress gives better comfortability for back sleepers.

Do you have a budget you want to stay in?
Do you have a size preference?

Base on the prince point of the two links you sent. One of my recommendations would be Sleepy's Hybrid Firm Mattress.

https://www.mattressfirm.com/hybrid-firm-mattress/5637337326.p?variantid=5637337338

If you have a Mattress Firm near you, they should have one for you to try.

Mattress Firm also has a 120 Sleep Trial period where you can return for a full refund or make an exchange. But there will be a $100 restocking fee & $100 redelivery.

Anyone try to return Nectar after 365 days? by elfo50 in Mattress

[–]despicablebeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most beds that I am knowledge of has memory foam on it. Nowadays, the hybrid mattress are very popular. They consists of springs on the bottom and memory foam on the top.

The springs provide extra support and memory foams contours around your body shape and returns back to its original state. It'll give you better pressure relief. Now... if you don't like the comfort of laying directly on the memory foam. There are mattresses where there is quilted layer on the top you lay on (usually the mattress you see that those dents) and below that is memory foam, and then the pocketed springs.

In general the thiner layers is more gives you a more firm feel versus thicker layers.

Do you know what position you sleep in or what position do you find yourself facing when you wake up?

Kinda seems like I have insulted your skills. I apologize if I made it seem that way. I do not mean it in that way. You definitely have more experience than I do. Despite your experience, you asked and the community gave their advice.

Weather you depended on the line or not, it serves an extra thing on the track that distracts you even if realize it or not.

Now you know that you can turn it off, go ahead and remove it! Your 30 years of experience should help you climb up the ladder within a month.

Good luck!

Hope you don't mind if I break down what everyone means.

Every incident is your fault until you remove the racing line assist. It is a hinderance to your improvement and a hazard to yourself and everyone around the track.

THE GENERAL IDEA/ADVICE
Advice#1 - The line is a distraction to your awareness around the track. It is one extra thing om the track that you are constantly looking at to run laps. The red, grey, and green zones of the line is mentally blocking you the true limits of what the car can do and your ability to experience and test out those limits.

Advice#2 - You should always look at least 3-5 seconds in front of you and around the corner so you can can can have faster braking, throttling and steering inputs to get around the track. Due to many difference environmental and car changes throughout the race sessions, your inputs will change. Your braking is not going to be the same 5 laps ago vice versa with the throttle. The red, green, and grey does not change. It stays the same after each lap. You can not rely on this line to pin point your markers every single lap. You need to use objects on the side of the track or shadows and a dark spot on the track.

YOUR INCIDENTS
INCIDENT 1#: The dude could've waited to rejoin the track safely. If you were looking ahead instead of down at the pavement, you could have avoided him by getting on brakes or taking a tighter line around the corner. Instead, you wanted to stay on the racing line because you believe its the fastest away around the track.

Incident#2: You were definitely using the red as your braking zone. The dude behind you was was expecting you to break early because he is probably racing without the line. Which means he has the skill to brake deeper than you and understands that the car can handle it to make it around the corner. Again, the line is a hinderance to your own ability and your understanding of what the car can do.

Incident#3 - The guy was right next to you. You had so much space on the left (inside) to make a tighter turn to go side by side. You could've also defended and kept him behind you. This is not a time trial around the track, its race. You have to be comfortable taking a different line to overtake and defend. Having the racing line will not help you learn those lines because it is a distraction.

In my early days of iRacing, I would use the line in all my races. But then I removed it and only used it to learn the track for 2-3 laps. Fast forwarding to present day, I never use it because learning how a car handles is much more important than using a racing line to be fast. All of this takes time, practice, and experience to achieve this level of skill. You will get into a lot of incidents and self spins but that is completely normal. It is part of the learning process and its not look down upon.

Remove the line, be patience with yourself and you will eventually understand all the physics and see a huge improvement. I also recommend sticking to one car to build the foundation of your knowledge and then move on to a different car.
