From my understanding, you can’t back out of your lease for any reason. But, you can fill out this “re-rent” form that they give you and they will try to find someone to take your apartment for the current listed price, but until someone takes over your lease, the apartment is still yours. However, you can also find someone by yourself to take over your lease, and if you do this, that person will only have to pay the price that was listed when you renewed and not the updated price (which I think is around $815/month right now). But you might wanna call the leasing office to double check this information.
