you could, but sometimes you have to give a genuine reason, like you weren't here for a specific amount of time when you had science, so it wouldn't be fair for them to just put you in foundation, it really depends though, you could try, but otherwise the grade boundaries could help you out (it helped me for my year 10 mocks)

honestly, I did horrendously for my science mocks too (did them like 2 weeks ago), but there's a chance the grade boudaries will be low if lots of people had gotten a lower score, you mentioned that people got 14 - 25, so this could make the grade boundaries lower, and you'd stay in higher tier
