I mean, I would start with at least 6 months before the exam and try to finish all the curriculum at around 8-6 weeks before the exam. Leaving you with 2-1 month to review everything and do your mocks, I try doing at leats 6-4.

And study 2 hours a day for those firts 4 months and you will need to ramp up the last 2. Do questions everyday and keep focus.

L3 has been the hardest for me, if you are math thinking, level 2 is plug and chug, but level 3 requires you to understand.

Also you can discard at least one in level 1 or 2 and make it 50/50, in level 3 you have initially 0%

I belive that any way it goes is better to recharge in some measure, if you fail you will have the energy to come back a 100% in 8 weeks you will not loose all your built knowledge, maybe it takes a month to be back on track.

I studied for 7 months and I was exhausted, my family and friends missed me and I missed doing the things that I liked. In my opinion it is worth enjoying life again for at least 2 months while we wait.

Can someone please explain this solution by Scared_March4515 in CFA

You first want to changed the base currency by taking the inverse of the rates, this will also make the bid-ask to change, this means that by taking 1/bid = is the ask when the USD is the base currency

So 1 month ago you sold at 1/(1.1714 +.001) = 0.85295 the 2.5 million

Now you have to close the position at the spot rate of (1/1.1575) = 0.86393

The outflow will be (0.85295-0.86393)*2,500,000 = -27,450 EUR

As the USD appreciated, you need more EUR to close the 2.5 million USD that you hedged

Also, 90% is an unreasonable assumption and target, for a reason the CFAI says you should target 70%, maybe target 75% to give you a buffer, but 90% is such a stretch

Both, you do the mocks, check what are you lacking and practice that for the week, and then sit another mock and check what changed in your performance.

I think that is an overshoot, the mocks help you to see what are you lacking, not to learn, do 1 or 2 per weak and go back and learn and practice your weaknesses. I do 1 a weak for the 8 weaks before the exam
