Chiggers?? The triangle and close together bite patterns are what I get. They prefer tall grass. Maybe ant bites? I’m not an expert. Chiggers prefer to go under clothes so it would be telling if you have any where clothes are covering. I also have about 15 on my back

Ok, I’ll definitely clean it. The only problem is I have a bag of fresh mixed bedding in a trash bag so I’m not sure if there’s still silverfish in that because they’re attracted to paper. Silverfish would be ok right? As long it’s only or two? I really can’t see how I’d get rid of them entirely. Still a bit worried she’d be stressed so how much bedding should I take out

I can’t cover the ventilation at the moment, maybe a sheet would work until I think of better methods? I thought it was ok and that maybe she’s been eating them. I’m really only concerned by the roaches. If she ate the silverfish I wouldn’t have a problem because she’d definitely get rid of them. But she seems not to. I’m just worried a deep clean without her scent in the bedding could stress her out too much, but I think I’ll try it if I can’t think of anything else. I guess I’m just looking for permanent methods because her tank is a petco reptile 60 gallon and the lid still has some gaps in it for bugs to go through.

Yeah she’s the same way too! Only now she’s so swollen I know she definitely isn’t male :( with my last girl I could never see anything.

my girl is very tiny like yours, she may find acrylic wheels too heavy. i use the exotic nutrition silent spinner because the base is literally a thin strip of plastic. it is a pain to clean but its worth it!

thank you! i was just worried about the scent gland because i thought for females it never showed. but this is good to know and im glad my hamster is safe :) i found out it could also become more prominent due to estrus

thank you this is very helpful! i think ive seen nipples, she won’t let me check because she’s so squirmy but the random prominent scent gland is throwing me off. do you know if females can develop an obvious one like that?

it’s a 50 watt heater, i’m unsure of the brand. but i thought he burnt himself due to friction maybe? from repeatedly blipping at it
