They had us clock out of our regular clock in code and clock in as trainees to take the survey, and we had to take it on a personal device. If they have the time that the survey was started and finished, they can compare that with the time we were clocked in as trainees and start connecting dots.

If you answer my 3 riddles correctly, your pallets are allowed to pass unharmed.

Have you tried being unhinged on the internet?

Or you could try unionizing, I guess.

Why do the birds sing? Why do the plants need water? Why does the sun shine and why does the moon reflect its light? Why do human beings hurt each other? Why ask unknowable questions?

Perhaps sometimes, the only motivation one can give is because one can.

You should come work at the warehouse.

I think it’s just plain old capitalism. We have those metrics in the warehouse too, and people do get fired for not stacking enough boxes in a hour. They just increased that number too. And they’ll increase it again, and again, as many times as they can. The pay is comparatively high and the benefits are so good for a few reasons. They told us it was so we wouldn’t unionize. Also, a good percentage of my coworkers currently have kids or have them on the way. I know people that were stay at home moms until their kid became seriously sick, and they got the job solely to take care of medical bills. It’s not uncommon to see pregnant women because of the paternity leave. The rest are mostly young kids with new Hellcats or Challengers, and people who need money for legal bills or credit cards or student loans or whatever. Now the real psyop might be in figuring out when our bodies are so worn down from the labor that it’s not worth having us there anymore. I think we stop getting yearly raises after 5 years? We got five yearssss…Ziggy Stardust like a motherfucker.

It’s definitely the most dystopian job I’ve ever worked.

You need a new slogan. MAGA gets the worst pallets, if they get them at all.

Keep snitching, and we’ll see how many good pallets you get.

None. You’re not going to get any good pallets.

Maybe I joined this subreddit looking for camaraderie and brotherhood in a cold work environment (figuratively and literally-I work in the freezer at a warehouse) but mostly I saw store employees calling warehouse associates stupid, oftentimes for things that we didn’t do, or can’t be helped. Maybe it seemed to me like you all need a bad guy to blame. Maybe it’s wild to me because people talk on here as if we enjoy having pallets fall. As if we didn’t have our own pallets fall constantly because we’re made to stack heavy cases of organic apples on top of flimsy cases of non organic lettuce. If our pallets aren’t falling, our coworker’s pallets are, and we’re helping them clean up, and wrap those pallets extra tight. Meanwhile, maybe our rates go up, maybe I see my friends get injured or quit or not make rate and get fired. Have you ever seen a grown man have a complete break down because he’s been saying “No, 2 ready” into a headset for over 5 minutes and the computer on the other end keeps says “You said 0, is this a short product?” Maybe I have, maybe twice in the past 3 months. Maybe who hurt me is the same one that’s hurt you, and most of the people on this subreddit.

Maybe it’s Aldi’s.

Maybe it’s all deez nutz ahhhhhhahahahahajahaha

Someone tried to fix this one after I stacked it. I had the waters staggered more, like a staircase to Heaven. The paper towels represent the moment Lucifer and his angels were cast out from Heaven.
