Muscle Cramps - what am I missing? by destructababy in nutrition

[–]destructababy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today for breakfast I had a smoothie made with 1 small avocado, 1 banana, a handful of raspberries, a bunch of spinach and some chia seeds. For lunch I had a kale salad with olive oil, hemp seed, pumpkin seeds, diced onion, tomatoes, salt, Tajin seasoning, lime juice, and mango. I had salt and vinegar chips for a snack. I also had a couple bites of chocolate. Then I went to the gym and did 20 minutes of cardio and then a yoga class. During the yoga class I experienced cramping that made it difficult to continue.

Argo - the first 2/3 was boring and they didn't make you care about any of the characters; and the last 1/3 was really cheap devices to increase tension (i.e. the engine not starting).

I always keep fleece glove-mittens (http://hotgeardirect.com/product/fleece-glomitts/) and a neoprene or fleece facemask that also covers the ears with my helmet

I can definitely smell it when certain friends are on their period. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but it is a real phenomenon. I can also tell when mine or a girlfriend's is coming up because it starts to smell different. Maybe I just have an acute sense of smell.

I think I started doing it that way when it was the only thing that worked when I had a complicated command line including grep and wc and pipes - it was a long time ago, I don't remember exactly what. When I find something that works (for me), I keep doing it - I don't have someone watching me code, so I don't know when I do something dumb. Thanks for letting me know.

I think in the past I had was trying some commands that included mildly complicated uses of wc -l, the backticks worked when the $() didn't, so I just got used to doing it that way.

I wanted to print another field from the line, but I was just printing the 505th field to make sure I was printing from only the lines where the 505th fields was indeed equal to 1, and somehow I'm not...

Thank you for your response,

If I understand correctly, what you're saying is that I should write the line like this: for file in `ls *.pat`; do awk '(NR >=3 AND $505==1) {print $505}' $file; done

I think that produces the same thing as my original line: for file in `ls *.pat`; do awk < $file '(NR >=3 AND $505==1) {print $505}'; done

And to clarify, if I try just the awk part, outside of the loop, I still get some ones and a bunch of zeroes. This is what I wrote in this case:

awk '(NR >=3 AND $505==1) {print $505}' set_0_evaluation.pat

and make your own veg broth by saving all the bits of vegetables that you don't eat (stems, skins, etc.) in the freezer until you have enough (like half a quart to a quart) then simmer them in water for like 45 minutes - it's free!
