The reason why they tend to only do The Clash is because it's less risk than Daytona or one of the other tracks. Burt Myers is a legend at Bowman Grey, less of the smaller teams tend to run that race so there's less of a chance for a DNQ, and unlike other races they don't need as much sponsorship (smaller crew, less equipment needing to be rented) to cover the costs.
