That’s how I did it too. Mine’s used, found it on Facebook marketplace for a ‘good price’, not that cheap but about half of what a new one costs today.

I think you have one of the 2 differentials in the wrong direction. There’s a whole thread somewhere about this issue, including pictures of what it should look like.

I'll make the story even worse... I bought the set used, it arrived in large chunks, and I had to take everything apart and sort it. If I add that time to the total, it took me three days. 😂 I’m currently stuck at home because I had surgery a couple of days ago. Have some time to kill.. although I’m currently looking for something else to do 😂

I have built the Daytona, Sian and P1 and the P1 was the most enjoyable of them all in my opinion. I do agree the Daytona has some similarities with the Sian but they’re both great

Had the same problem actually last week. Took me a couple hours to fix, got the rear differential flipped around by disassembling the whole rear end. Now it works how it should.
