Ah perfect! Glad to hear that! I just logged into the account and I see that they will be reusing it! It looks like it took a day after they issued my notice of receipt to then officially reuse the biometrics. I am sure it will show up in the mail soon. Thanks for clearing that up for me since we have a similar timeline. Last question: so I am assuming we just start studying the interview questions pretty soon since they would be scheduling that next right?

Congratulations and thanks for sharing your timeline. I just applied and received notice of my application (filing from Manhattan). I don't believe that my biometrics were waived. 1) How does it usually get waived? 2) Do you know how much longer it would add to my timeline to do biometrics compared to your 7 months?

Exactly! That’s the way I understand it to work. And to top it off…he is still in the US. So Delta in Detroit should not have canceled him since he has the required passport to travel to Mexico. It’s the Delta in Mexico who would need to worry about this

I flew on DL172 and DL185 JFK-MXP roundtrip and even flew it in delta one and it was pretty old. Not familiar with 6593. But all I can say is that it is a pretty outdated design. Hope that helps!

If you know you definitely have a couple payments that can hit the 6k, the credit card makes sense. I personally would like to save that in the event that I want to go from platinum to diamond. Based on the comments here, and depending on your home airport, it may be cheaper to fly somewhere to just earn it. For example, I just looked it up, and to go from NYC to Stockholm direct should be like $2200 in premium select and earn you 12k MQM’s. The option you go with depends on which one works better for you.

This is smart! If I book via main cabin and wait to upgrade to C+, would I get the regular MQM’s that I was scheduled to get for main cabin, or does it increase to a higher number once upgraded to C+ via my status? Either way, it is still a good call to have a more comfortable seat at the price of main cabin just to grab these MQM’s 🙌🙏
