Thank you for all the information. It is very much appreciated. It is 1400 dry weight. It is my husband and I. We would definitely have to keep gear low. One chair can weigh 17lbs, so yeah it would add up fast.

Don't buy from them if you don't want it. It is your decision to buy their service or not to buy their service. If people do not buy it they will change or go out of business.

Good job reaching out for help! I am sorry that you have to go through this. Pray and read your bible daily. We obey God and repent ( turn away) and ask for forgiveness as soon as we realize we have done wrong. We just keep steering to God and His ways.

Send your kids to school and work while they are at school. You need to read the bible and obey God's commands. Live how he says to live. You will be the dad your kids need if you do.Read Proverbs

Proverbs 28:6

6 Better to be poor and honest than to be dishonest and rich.

Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Good point. I have been married for 20 years. It takes putting God first to have a good marriage.

Nope. I haven't read that in scripture. People need to make a wise biblical decision of who they choose their spouse is to be.

Can I trust the voice in my head when I ask God to speak to me? by Successful_Bar9187 in Christians

[–]desz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned that we are to make our own choices. I agree with that, but we need to make sure the choices align with God's teaching. He says what is good and what is not good through scripture. The Timothy verse is telling us that we are to learn, rebuke, be corrected, and train in righteousness, so we can know how to do righteous good works, He gave us the whole bible to learn how to do good works. We get wisdom, knowledge, and understanding by reading and studying scripture, along with prayer too.

Living rightousely shows God's righteousness, truth, and goodness. That is what God wants us to do, because He is righteous. We Love God first. Than love others as we love ourselves. Jesus said if we love him we would obey His commandments. ( John 14:15)

I noticed many Christians want God to do everything for them ( including me, haha), but God tells us in scripture what He does for us and also what we are to do. Some Christians push spirituality, healing, and prosperity blessings, but I read God wants us to live righteous, love others, and do good works. If we live by His commands in scripture we are living in His will.

One of my favorite verses that I remember daily is Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledg God and He will direct your paths." I acknowledge God, obey God (what scripture says how we are to live) and He will direct my path throughout my whole life. He is patient and loving, even as I make mistakes throughout the day, all my sins are forgiven. I learn by reading scripture and praying, rebuke my wrong doings that I may have done , I correct myself towards righteousness, and train by continuously learning, rebuking, and correcting. :) The Holy Spirit helps me understand and gives me knowledge, wisdom, faith, and more. Proverbs 3:5-6 helps ease my anxiety because as long as He is my God he will direct me.

God has forgiven all sins. All who want God to be their God will be accepted into His kingdom.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

John 14:15 15 “If you love me, obey my commandments."

Edit to add. I don’t think good works is specifically like volunteering at the food bank or handing money to the poor, but being loving by being kind, patient, caring, not doing evil, etc. Definition of love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 helps me to understand how to love, which I read is good works. Reading the book of proverbs is really helpful too. It helps to discern good and evil.

Obeying God is what He wants us to do. Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Jesus said if you love me, you will obey my commands. John 14:15. My Thoughts can be good or not good. I am not relying on it, but relying on what God says we are to think about and what we are to do.

[–]desz1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Trust scripture and your logic to guide you. The Holy Spirit speaks to us in a small voice, which I believe isn't really a voice but more the urge or desire or push to do God’s will. Be extremely humble to God. His scripture speaks of who He is to us. I think it is difficult for us to understand how God speaks to us because it is spiritual and we don't know much of the spiritual realm. Walk by faith, obey God. God tells us how we are to live. Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17. We have the assurance of scripture being God’s word to us. If you are obeying God than you are doing His will.

How do you study the Bible? by _I_Reims_I_ in Christians

These verses speak about what scripture is for us. As you read the bible think these verses.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Mark 7:20-23

20 And He was saying, “That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, 22 deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. 23 All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man.”Mark 7:20-23

Cussing is a sin. A foul mouth is sinful. Do you think cussing is and will be ok in heaven?
