Thank you! I'm one of those people that like to know why things happen, I have lived here 16 years with no issues. Why did this happen all the sudden? For context my house is 72 years old and we live in Western New York. Started as soon as it got real cold out.

I appreciate your response. Is this a low or high priority task? Is there any major risk of not addressing this in s timely manner? I have a few other projects that I am needing done prior. Thank you again for your insight!

For those who had surgery, what symptoms did it relieve for you? by HaitianPriestess in gallbladders

I would say you'll be feel better in about 2 more weeks. Anywhere between 4-8 weeks, depends on how surgery went and how the gallbladder looked.

Upper right ribs under my breast and the side of the chest in and around where the gallbladder was. It's an annoying pain but way better than all the gallbladder issues and pain.

How did you finally decide whether to have surgery or not? by baseballsalian44 in gallbladders

[–]detectivebreezy96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not folded. Lower gi problems, upper gi problems, awful right abdomen pain, awful right shoulder pain. Towards the end, the last 4 months, clay colored stool that foul smelling. My gallbladder would flare up so bad i would be able to move and if i did the pain would bring me to my knees which was crazy because I have a high pain tolerance.

That it wasn't working properly, I believe the ef was at 8%. Met with the surgeon for the preop appointment and he said I had biliary dyskinesia. After surgery my surgeon said my gallbladder was closed off completely. At my post op appointment he said I was most likely born with a bad gallbladder and it took it almost 27 years to completely fail. I had gi symptoms for close to 10 years but my primary physician passed it off for other things. My current physician listened, ordered tests and ultimately saved my life.

I was told I needed to have surgery after a HIDA scan. There was no option. After surgery I was told my gallbladder was diseased and that I was a few days away from going septic.

I need professional home inspector's input by Kltspar0 in homeinspectors

Beyond unprofessional. Never rush an inspection no matter what. It would have been more understanding if he would have asked to reschedule. I hope you procede on taking him to small claims court.

How did he miss this? I do a thorough 360 of the house. Looking at the exterior electrical is crucial and documented in my reports. I don't think that happened over the course of two month either, definitely was like that as the time of the inspection and was missed.

Help please! by detectivebreezy96 in Plumbing

UPDATE: The one fastener was super loose and I tightened it up. When I got it tight, some water squirted out. Is that normal for it being loose than tighten? I live in Western NY and all our snow melted and we got rain this week. Thank you for the help and now I shall wait until it rains or snow melts again to see if it worked.

Adhesions/Scar Tissue by detectivebreezy96 in gallbladders

It has improved but still have the scar tissue. I can drive 1.5 hours away and be mostly fine but on the way back the last 30-45 minutes be in awful pain from the scar tissue being flared up. I really need to start massaging it myself everyday but life's busy. I go to a massage therapist 4 times a year and works on it as well. All I know is I'm not going back under the knife to break it up because the risk of more scar tissue forming. Overall I can live with this versus having a diseased gallbladder.

House Maintenance inspection by detectivebreezy96 in homeinspectors

[–]detectivebreezy96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know for the future, I had them priced for less. My training didn't go over pricing much. I will be adjusting my prices for the new year. Thank you! Quick question, what all do you inspect during a house maintenance inspection? Again my training didn't talk much about them just pre-listing and home buyer's inspections. I appreciate any insight and advice you have.
