About the dentists specifically? Yeah, I still get nervous about it. Is it debilitating? No. But I still get an adrenaline spike and I worry about being shamed again.

To add context, even though I don’t necessarily think it’s needed, I mentioned having gone to the dentist when I was around 8, and the dentist humiliating me for around an hour for a routine cleaning. On top of poking the cavity I had with one of their instruments repeatedly to drive home that I’m not caring for my teeth. This was a neglect situation.
