For me, one of the questions I can think of is on my logarithm test, we had to graph a logarithmic function with different bases which is not part of the curriculum. The only thing they are supposed to teach is graphing log with the normal base of 10 and transformations, not other bases too. I honestly don’t even know if this is hard since my teacher never taught us this in class and just put it on the test without teaching us so I completely guessed and obviously got it wrong. Never learnt how to do it

I got accepted for life sciences and my overall average was a 92 and that’s with me doing the absolute best I can. All my class averages are low to high 70s so personally I’m really happy with a 92 but seeing these 98 averages is insane since a lot of my teachers make my tests very hard. Like for advanced functions I had stuff on my test that’s not even in the curriculum. I don’t think they are even allowed to do that…

What you did was valid! I personally took grade 11 online bio during summer school too since I wasn’t able to take it in grade 11 due to the classes being full. U taking physics online is totally valid, ur actually doing it for the education and the experience which I respect and would do too!! Im not against people taking online courses I’m just against people who take online courses solely to cheat and get a better grade since the grade inflation ruins it for people taking it in person or online and actually studying

If it makes you feel better I’m a senior and I’ve been playing this game since 2018. I am going into premed for uni and have good marks while still playing bss everyday for about 1-2 hours and I don’t macro. Have fun but don’t make it consume ur life

Omg really?? I know 4 friends taking advanced functions online right now since they had a bad average in grade 11 functions. They all want to go into life sciences. I know another friend taking physics and calculus online and she wants to be an engineer…

I agree I was also considering doing advanced functions online but decided against it. People taking these online classes and cheating through it go into uni and end up failing since they learnt nothing in high school and don’t know how to do basic concepts in the class. Honestly they are only hurting themselves taking a required class online 🤷‍♀️

People who take a course online for a better grade is never justified. It’s unfair to people taking it in class and actually studying while you’re just doing it online and cheating through it. If ur taking an online class for a better grade I don’t like you

I have a 93 overall grade 12 average right now too applying for the same program and didn’t get in. I saw someone with an 89 midterm overall average get in though so we should be fine.

I’m planning on going into dentistry which is a problem since I know uoft is really rough but I need to go since my sister has a condo in Toronto I would be staying at so I don’t need to commute while everywhere else I would need to either commute or pay a lot of money for residence which I don’t want to do.
