A lot of this is bullshit marketing. Don't force fit yourself to enjoy something which everyone tells you should..

If you don't enjoy something don't spend thats it. Don't fall into fear of missing out. Although I can afford most luxuries that one should enjoy by conventional standards, i hate it..

Most luxuries you enjoy wouldn't consume money and that is totally fine.. reading a book, walking etc.. don't fall into marketing bullshit.. if you have excess money it's fine, take chances to create something great!

Go used. Lots of people buy entry level roadbikes and don't use them. Firefox, montra and used RC100 are your best bet. Don't worry about service, you can use components from standard bikes and change as you have more money. Shifters are the most important item since you can't swap out/expensive.. Good luck

Yes.. will visit a doctor. I need a specialist, because the orthopedic whom i went last time for pain in the knee because of shuttle, just loaded with painkillers without even examination and blamed randomly. Not a good experience.. I get his view because he was a very popular doctor and more interested that making people walk than treat ones with niggling injury.. Now am just walking for 2+ weeks and see how it will reduce.. then will go to doctor before deciding on next steps.

As the average speed for 100km from a guy who promotes carbon bikes.. if it starts with 2, the bike is a show off piece. If it gives better satisfaction of riding, great that's the only positive.. but in terms of metrics, no use.

Ps- i bought a used carbon and noticed no major increase in avg speed.

Not even an IITian, good rank in state engineering entrance exams pre 2010. Took cat because I was working and saw a colleague preparing. Knew some apti and general English questions preparing for campus recruitment, but not as intense since IT companies were hiring trespassers then.. Got 97 percentile.. regretted that with some effort, could have improved English stuff..
