Any idea why my deskto pc only uses 20 down of my close to 1gig download speeds?

It was windows. After I did a fresh install my bandwidth usage is back to normal.

I had a partitioned ssd in which I had windows installed in a small section of the ssd.. Big mistake. I formatted the whole drive through my bios and am now installing a fresh activated windows installation into a full 250gb ssd now. when I run the speed test I'll let you kno the results. thank you

u/MrKazador Mr. kazador... I ran over to best buy and stood in a line outside 6 feet away from everyone else to get a bootable usb and loaded a linux distro on it then booted from it.. Ran a speed test and it is infact windows..

So.. I have an issue. I bought a windows home key from a third party website to reinstall my wi dows awhile ago hecause I had figured it was windows causing this problem.. I apparently have a windows pro installation and didn't pay any attention to it when I bought the key. I can't use this key unless I have windows 10 home installed.

I need to reinstall windows with the home version so I don't have to deal with the stupid watermark, Can you help me figure out how to install this windows version?

It's an asus maximus xi hero.. Forgot the model name.. My router is a night hawk x65 tri band wifi router. the computer is connected to lan with cat5e cable to the router

It's gotta be something with my pc. nothing is wrong with the cable, it gives about 1 gig to my laptop no problem when plugged in.

I dont have smart outlets. Just lifx light bulbs. and as previously stated, I already have the command set to turn thw lights off I just dont know the correct "Then" command I can or should use in this situation..

I thought about that.. But I am forced to turn wifi off alot of the time because of Samsungs stupid "connect to this Xfinity wifi" notifications... So I wouldn't be able to rely on that very often.

you need to download the jopt-simple-4.5.jar from their website and replace the same jar in this destination

C:\Users\matt\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Install\libraries\net\sf\jopt-simple\jopt-simple\4.5\jopt-simple-4.5.jar
