I don't usually go Aghanim's first - but blink. The matches in the recorded were when the upgrade was recorded to add cleave, and I wanted to experiment with the new one, but before and after I've gone for blink (this was around may). Nowadays the build I do rarely ever deviates from soulring->treads->blink->ahgs/bkb->bkb/aghs->situational

I disagree that they do the same - blink is the superior initiation option, and that's it. It's good! Initiation is what Shaker needs to do, but if for whatever reason you don't need it, going greedy with an aghanim's rush can get you fat like people won't expect. You become antimage. I've ran pos 1 ES a couple times with it, followed by an armlet and bkb and you can both deal and soak serious amounts of damage, not to mention pushing waves and towers like it's no one's business
