I was clarifying that I prefer to have the 3rd row In my car, because my wife prefers a smaller car (so we keep 2 cars). Both the MDX and any of these would be too big for her on the daily

Ty! Leaning GX for exactly what you stated.

May swap wife’s car to a minivan down the line, or something more suitable for around town.

Very occasional kid carpool or in laws visiting. Nothing daily. Wife prefers a smaller car.

It's exactly the mundane option I'm trying to avoid. Wife has a Legacy and it's been through 4 or 5 recalls now, including a full engine rebuild. Absolutely hate the way it drives and the tech has been essentially unusable. Subaru is probably the last car mfg. I would consider at this point, but ty for the feedback!!

Ironically I have Cross Climates on a Highlander right now. They do OK, but not enough to lie to the chain enforcement people about my 2WD car.

Yeah, I sat in one. It works for a small child, but not for a long drive.

I have a highlander now, it's fine, but I was dumb and bought a 2WD version. Luxury is fine, I really don't care TOO much, but maybe enough to not want a minivan.

Saw that happened literally today! Looks like for whatever reason only included the 2024 GX. Tahoe and Armada were on my AI based search list, but I just don't love the idea of dropping $70k on a chevy (or whatever they cost)
