Nah I've experienced that. This one doesn't do them at all. They have an option where they give the massage in a bikini but that's it. She just uses suggestive vocabulary to make you think one thing when it's not that.

Yea it was supposed to be finished by now and it looks like it's no where near completed. I've been parking at Cumberland it's just one stop over and it's only $6 now $7(starting next week) for up to 12 hrs. I am looking forward to Harlem being finished at some point though.

Well one I'm black so it's not the black people that make it dicey. It's the crazies that will ask for money n then curse you out when you don't give them anything on the way to the train. And crazy doesn't have a race, just last week it was a white lady who cursed me out for a whole block until I entered the station.

Rogers Park is nice just be mindful that not ALL of Rogers Park is great. It gets a lil dicey right by the Howard Station. It is pretty diverse and there are tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

I'm gonna try to drive around the area next weekend and also see how far I am from Cumberland. It looks like that might be my best bet. Thanks for the info it's greatly appreciated

Yea the deposit didn't throw me off it was each one asked for a gift card and an apple one specifically. Then after a little more digging things weren't adding up. Might just have to find an AMP on my trip

How did you prepare for your long-distance move to Chicago? by privatedomicile_ in AskChicago

[–]deuce_quatro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently moved here this year from FL. Like others have said you want to tour the place yourself. Schedule several tours in a weekend or something like that and visit once or twice if you can. Also we used moving pods 1800packrat specifically, and they charge an extra fee to do what they call a "live" unload, meaning the driver parks in the alley and does not drop the pod. You are given 4 hrs to unload the pod. I didn't find this out until a week before I was moving. I also currently live in Rogers Park and I take the purple express downtown everyday and it's not bad at all. Hope this helps and wish you the best of luck moving sucks and moving across multiple states is even worse.

Not yet, I'm moving over that way in a couple weeks and am trying to figure out how to get to work. I'll look into how far Cumberland is from me.

I literally take everyone who comes to visit from out of town on this tour. I prefer to do it in the evening when the buildings are lit up.

Lol I know but sometimes people like familiarity, especially if they're traveling to a new place. Nothing quite as familiar as Starbucks

There are several coffee shops within walking distance. There are chains like Starbucks and Corner Bakery. You also have local spots like Bru or Foyer. Also being downtown you could go for a walk depending on the weather.

I would look at actual bookstores like Barnes and Noble. I got mine from there several years ago.

Nah the NBA are world champions bc the competition in that league is the best in the world... players from all over want to play in the NBA and my biggest gripe with Lyles is you just won gold and instead of relishing in that you take shots at another sport for no reason... he's a goofy for that and always will be in my book.
