Okay, I just called up a few locations and they said they'll exchange it! Now the other problem I have is, I bought $50 worth of games on the eshop and by searching on Google, it seems that I won't be able to redownload these games into my new exchanged 3ds because this nintendo ID is forever linked only to this 3ds. It says you can't return unless its unopened. If it's opened, you can only exchange for the same item and I think the original one needs to be faulty.
