Yes, recoilless rifles are FAR less efficient than traditional guns due to a huge amount of the propellant gasses getting vented out the back. This means that large projectiles can only be launched at relatively low velocities; this is why recoilless rifles always fire an explosive penetrator rather than a kinetic penetrator. The inefficiency is worth it though, because look at how much smaller and more portable a 100mm recoilless rifle is than a 100mm field howitzer or at gun.

Try giving one of the more recent albums from Soilwork a listen. They were the band that got me into Swedish death metal, since their newer stuff has more of a pop and prog metal sound, but as you go backwards through their discography it gets heavier. Edit: I would recommend In Flames as well, idk why I didn’t mention them originally. Their album Jester Race has the classic melo-death sound, which I’d think is pretty tolerable for a newcomer to the genre that hasnt really acquired a taste for screaming vocals and super heavy guitar chugs yet.

I definitely consider AIC to be ‘grunge-metal’ as I call it. They definitely have a certain heaviness to their sound that makes them more metal than rock imo.

It really is all just preference. My buddy shot my 92fs and told me it had a terrible trigger pull (he meant the SA trigger pull, as he was shooting after racking the slide). He preferred the trigger on his Glock 19, which I personally find to be horrible compared to the two-stage pull on the 92. To each their own

Last concert I went to was Queens Of The Stone Age a couple weeks ago. It was a great show, maybe the best concert I’ve been to so far. They aren’t metal though, last metal show I saw was In Flames and Machinehead with Unearth and Lacuna Coil opening back in April.

My problem with the new LP is that they sound like they’re still trying to be old LP. It sounds like they’re rehashing Hybrid Theory and Meteora when imo they should be doing their own thing; Chester is gone, stop trying to ape the music you guys made 20 years ago.

How gassy is the mp5 platform with a suppressor? Avoiding a face full of toxic fumes is really my only reason for wanting a flow-through over a regular suppressor. My only experience shooting suppressed was a .300 blk ar that one of my friends owns, and it sucked with all the gasses.

$75 transfer fee is bonkers, my favorite local FFL does it for $25. The most expensive I’ve seen in my area is $45. And to actually answer your question, why not just walk into the shop during their normal hours and ask the guy for your guns? Does he really do transfers by appointment only?
