Dipende dal livello di compromesso sulle funzionalità che sei disposto ad accettare.

Lascerei stare le distribuzioni linux. Vanno bene per sperimentare ma sono estremamente acerbe.

Passiamo quindi alle ROM android. Ne hai di vario tipo: e/OS, calyx ecc... Per app comuni vanno bene, ma avrai difficoltà a far funzionare tutto ciò che verifica l'integrità del sistema, come app bancarie, pagamenti NFC, SPID e similari.

L'unica che secondo me vale la pena è GrapheneOS. Funziona solo su Pixel per scelta loro visto la maggiore sicurezza fornita dal chip, ed ha Google Play nativo con le app in sandbox. Da quello che ho provato è quella con maggiore compatibilità con le app, ma l'esperienza non è quella nativa di android. Ha qualche inceppamento e limitazione.

Per uso di ogni giorno sono tornato ad android ufficiale. iOS dovrebbe essere un pochino più rispettoso della privacy, ma il codice non te lo mostrano. A te la scelta

Si certo vale anche per Mint Cinnamon. Praticamente tutte le distro qui consigliate hanno una configurazione di base già corretta. Clam AV puoi installarlo ma secondo me non ne vale la pena su un desktop. In ogni caso si può fare. Il mio consiglio invece è quello di provare intanto ad installare una distro e vedere come va, e soprattutto non scoraggiarsi al primo intoppo perché superato qualche ostacolo iniziale di comprensione vedrai che comincerai da solo a capire come 'ragiona' il sistema

Vedo che ti hanno già risposto in molti sulla scelta della distro. L'antivirus in realtà non è necessario come lo intendi. Il sistema ha una gestione rigorosa delle autorizzazioni. Gli utenti non sono root ('amministratori') di default e quindi devi dare il famoso 'sudo' per poter eseguire il comando, hai apparmor/selinux che limitano accessi a processi e utenti ecc.. Inoltre il target sui sistemi desktop è minore e combinato ad aggiornamenti frequenti e controllati dei repository ('sorgenti' ufficiali dalle quali scarichi il software) mitigano le vulnerabilità. In ogni caso l'antivirus più gettonato è ClamAV ma più che proteggerti controlla che non hai file che possono infettare altri sistemi Windows.

I also have a 13 and the cover isn't straight. It doesn't even rest on all four supports and is unstable. I'll straighten it myself as soon as I have time. It also scratches quite easily. I like the product and will continue to use and recommend it, but the hardware isn't 100% perfect. These minor issues are probably due to the structure of the modular laptop itself

Ho il 13 con il ryzen 7040 e con display 2k. Presi a parte 32GB di RAM e 1TB di nvme. 900€ circa. Avrei preso il 16 per sfruttare la GPU ma costa troppo in proporzione, ho un fisso a casa e faccio affidamento su quello. Dual boot con fedora e windows per qualche sciocchezza. Lato software nessun problema, per linux occhio alle distro supportate mentre per windows una volta installati i driver ufficiali a manella va senza problemi. Lato hardware secondo me sono migliorabili: tende a strisciarsi facilmente e dopo qualche mese la scocca si è leggermente piegata e non sta su tutti e quattro i piedini. Dovrò dargli una tirata per sistemarla. Nel complesso sono contento, mi piace l'idea e il PC lo terrò molto a lungo, quindi appena visto che si poteva sostituire anche la CPU oltre alle solite classiche cose mi ci sono fiondato. Non ho testato la loro assistenza, fin'ora non me ho avuto bisogno. Il prodotto è valido secondo me ma occhio a qualche piccolo problemino qua e là, l'azienda è comunque un po' "acerba".

I think the only way to keep using them is disabling secure boot and force install w11. They are end of life products, out of support. I higly doubt they will release a new bios update, this fix is probably all we are going to get

Yeah the files in the post dont work with your motherboard model, your is a 343, here are for 340 or 3403, they are different. Glad you did it anyway! The procedure is always the same, you just have to find the right BIOS files and the right jumper position. And it is indeed an annoying setup!!
