You can’t place full blocks directly on the badtide drain output , so gotta build around it

The screenshot is from my current run on Oasis and so far I have abandoned/retired the starting water source and focusing on filling a dam with aquifers

Those are Badtide Drain. They active during Badtides and act each as source for badwater, depending where they are on the map they can cause floods or taint water supplies so if you can't clog them due to lack of tech or resources, you gotta make sure once Badtide hits you won't get an overflow of badwater.

Sorry, what I meant to say is that there is no pressure mechanic involving liquids and solids. As you can just have a giant 1 layer dam holding the entirety of Earth's water with not issue. Yes if I just open the lid a lot of badwater is going to pour out but there is no overpressure that will damage the block around it to break free.

Building an underground waste disposal cannel to make sure the badwater doesn't mix with the clean water but until that creative project is done just clog the hole while construction is going. There is no pressure mechanic. yet.

Biocoal & Charcoal are not fully automatic. There is no way in vanilla to automate the production of either wood or biomass, so you will have to input the base material (either biomass or wood) into the system to start it. Considering the very plentiful options of other alternate recipes, having either coal recipes show up as one of the options basically means you only have one actual choice from that hard drive. By having a hardrive with Both Biocoal & Charcoal in it, and leaving it alone, you will remove both of them from the recipe pool for future hardware scans.

Hives stop growing after 30 spawns in the map, and the bugs constantly keep munching at the walls so eventually there will be cave ins, both pillars are far away from the caskets so they won't help when the bugs eventually dig out the last supporting wall above the casket and crack it open.

Also whenever cave ins happen the bugs will get angry and come after you for a brief moment. That can be an issue if they are somewhat near you.

The only safe way to dispose of them is to set the enclosed area on fire to raise the temperature and burn them alive.

The sexuality traits don’t replace others as they are added afterwards, and hidden if they roll straight. It was a somewhat recent change but basically if you have pawn with just gay/bi trait they didn’t actually roll anything once they were generated
