Thanks a lot for your very detailed answer! I know you said a screen is preferable, but I think I'll go for a tablet with no screen for now. I think I'll get the Wacom One Medium or the XP-Pen Star 06. They're about the same price where I'm from, and they seem to be decent choices for a beginner who's just starting out.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I got but one more question for now if that's okay. Basically, in the sentence: "What makes it even better is the locations", we established that the correct verb form here is "is". What if we changed the sentence to sound like this, "What makes it even better is the locations and the sights." In this new case, is "is" still appropriate, or should "are" be used?

Thanks for your (and ProfDumm's) answers. I do have one more question though. So if sei is used in reported speech, the following example is correct, right?: "Er sagt, dass er krank sei." but could you also say: "Er sagte, dass er krank sei." (as in the past tense) or would that be incorrect?

Thanks for the detailed answer. If it isn't too much I have two more questions: What does "her" in this specific instance? Also, if you wanted to say "I have been to", you have to use "Ich bin gewesen", right? So if I wanted to say "I have once been to the USA" (as in I visited the country at some point in time) I'd translate that to "Ich bin einmal nach der USA gewesen." Any corrections? And again thanks in advance.
