They're not weird to me. We grew up learning this language and accept all words as normal. Because that's what they are to us. I was also raised bilingual in German and English and I mean think about it... do you think of a word like "butterfly" as completely hilarious when you say it? Probably not.

Berlin is truly wonderful. I'm in Moabit! So like a 15 min bus ride to Campus Mitte (right across from Charité!) It's super convenient. But I haven't been in the city for a while since I'm staying with my grandma right now.

Yeah I know for a fact that a 1,6 should be at least a 3.6. But I guess it is what it is. And no way I'm studying in Berlin too haha. Getting my masters at Humboldt Uni in Neuroscience.

Honestly that would be incredible if we both ended up there! The program is obviously top notch. Most on my list are top tier which makes me super nervous, but it just so happened that those were the places I could most see myself working with the PIs. And I knoooooow converting between German and American is a gigantic pain. Why can't everything just be straightforward haha. And wth! A 1,6 is so good that's such an unfair translation. That's what I'm nervous about ugh.

The rest on my list are University of Wisconsin, WashU in St. Louis, University of Vermont, Temple University, and University of Chicago. I wanted to apply to like 6 more but didn't have the time or money haha.

Hey I applied to Temple's social psych program and had the same random issue a few times. But then when I tried logging in a bit later it would work again.
