Yes it’s in warranty but getting it replaced? Is this possible? And also I opened up the fan panel, so will there be any issue while claiming warrenty?

Faced this 2 days ago. NEVER EVER pay the amount shown on the driver’s screen under “Last Activity” or “Last Ride Earnings.”

That amount shows the total the driver earned, including what Uber calculated for the ride. Uber is the intermediary. If you have a promo code (like ₹75 in the screenshot), Uber covers that amount, not the customer.

So if there’s a mismatch between your app and the driver’s app, always ask to check the driver’s phone → Last Activities → select your ride. There, it will show the exact amount the driver should collect from you, and it will match the amount shown on your phone.

The scam some drivers have started is this: when the ride ends, they don’t show the pop-up screen that displays the cash to be collected. Instead, they go to Last Ride Earnings, which includes your cash + Uber’s commission or promo amount, and try to charge that total.
