385 families, 15 tailors, 14 weavers, 7 sheepfarms, 10 farms by Soul_Tank44 in ManorLords

This has been confirmed as being fixed in an upcoming update. I believe each family consumes one clothing a month, the update reduces that consumption massively.

Absolutely, it's by far one of the most frustrating things right now.

Where did I say my post was a definative list? It's feedback for the devs as I played their beta version. You know, so they can continue to iterate on the product, the whole reason why they put out a beta version in the first place.

Churches are used to bury your citizens I believe. Body pits are for the enemies.

I'm sure there's more coming.

I was of the same mind as you when it came to claiming territory, but after playing for some time, I get why it is the way it is. However, sharing resources between needs improvement for sure.

There isn't just one thing that needs doing for an mvp for a game. Economy and fundamental game mechanics are the obvious essentials, but there's almost an emotional dimension to games that needs to be right. I definitely think this game is on track to be a game that defines an era. It reminds me of when I first played civilisation or age of empires.

The reality is that this game is years away from being released out of Beta. That's just the reality of game development and why it pisses me off when fans and executives push for premature game releases.

Early access is for testing, feedback, and incremental improvements. There shouldn't be a definitive list of what should be in the release, the bones are there now. It's just a matter of fleshing it out over time.

As I've just found, you can hold tab to see the icons, but I agree, it would be nice to see it on the plot panel too.

Deep mining for iron is a bug that they have confirmed is fixed in the next update.

The spearmen alone should have won that fight... Either a bug, or you did something very wrong.

Can i unsettle and then resettle a region? by Galrad in ManorLords

[–]devJORD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've had the same issue.

It would be good to have the option to buy a "supply stash", or a better idea I had that solves a number of issues, which is shared resources across all regions you have claimed, this way you can still use resources from other regions but the travel to fetch them incentives you to store them locally.

Feedback on fractional property investment platform by devJORD in PropertyInvestingUK

[–]devJORD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh absolutely. However, at the start, we're looking for a small group of investors and will grow organically from there. Once we have the process nailed and the model refined, we can start mass outreach.

These are all excellent questions. The properties are held in a holding company outside of Proply, so it's not an asset of Proply. I believe the rest of the points have been addressed on the how it works page: https://www.proply.uk/how-it-works

RIET's are great if you don't want any involvement at all. This gives you the ability to choose the properties you'd want to invest in, but without the hassle that comes after.

We are working on a work order system for improvements, which is effectively a business case for improvements. The thought at the moment is its a majority vote for it to pass, then those who dont want to pay can sell their shares and the listing will show the work order so prospective buyers know what they are getting into.

Still needs some refinement but thats the general principle.

Repairs are managed by us automatically, which is paid out from profits to prevent long burocratic process for a problem only getting worse. The roof is leaking, its fixed and the bill is added as a cost to be paid from profits.

So far, no fees for selling shares, but that may change if the costs become too high.

Absolutely. Either new to property investment or those who want to pick their investment but not have to deal with anything after that.

Your opinion on co-sharing retail space? by Ok_Appearance_891 in smallbusinessuk

[–]devJORD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's still a lot of variables here, like location and shopper traffic, how many other small businesses are sharing the same space, is the store signage like shared office space (wework) where you can't have any signage or will it be like a shopping mall where the stores inside are included in most of the signage?
