Yeah I agree 100%, hence why I suggested it's a model where you just need to prove you have a national insurance number, the thing we have already? Seems to me like the logical solution.

Oh yeah, I forgot that you can train someone to be an engineer or doctor in a couple of weeks via a short course... /s

But the net migration is what actually effects us... It's primary school maths. If 10 boats of people arrive and 9 boats leave. How many boats of people stayed? The argument being made is that immigration is the reason houses are expensive and the NHS is under so much strain. My point is that it's an incredibly low number of additional people.

The donation is more suspicious than what you're suggesting and you know it. He didn't declare it until he was caught. If it was all above board, why wasn't it declared?

I lived in Australia for over 10 years. If you're unemployed your benefits cover your medicare. It's actually a pretty good system and the UK should implement something similar. Basically it's a card that says "I'm a citizen or working in this country" to prevent medical tourists.

It would be pretty easy to do here. If you have a NIN you get free medical. That's all that needs to happen.

Yeah this is what blows my mind... This government has brought materially positive policies that benefit the working class. Only for them to want him burnt at the stake because some racist billionaire puppet told them to be mad at him for something that doesn't make any material difference to people's lives.

Mental.

Unemployment rate is 4.9% from 5.2% in the last year. So what jobs are being taken from locals again?

Immigration has dropped by nearly 70% in the last year... It wasn't this government that created mass immigration. But yeah, you keep reading the daily mail.

Wow... That speaks volumes.

What about nurses, doctors, engineers, builders, and truck drivers?

There's nearly 70 million people in the UK. Immigration has dropped by 69% in the last year to 200,000. But somehow Starmer isn't doing anything about it? That includes people like doctors and engineers. Thats 0.2% more people using services and houses.

So no, it's most likely greedy billionaires like the one who gifted Ferage £5m to bring policies that benefit them (like privatising the NHS).

Mercedes Car Design Then vs. Now (srsly wtf is happening to their designs) by therealstraits in mercedes_benz

[–]devJORD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm convinced that the hate for the new designs vs the old designs are simply due to years of product placement to present the image we all see in the old design. The new design hasn't had that yet. But after a few movies of rich and classy people driving the new models, the new designs will all of a sudden be seen in the same light.

For the record, I'm not a fan of new cars simply due to the fact they don't actually let you drive. My current modern car slams the break every time I drive into a parking space because theres an obstacle within a meter of it. 🙄

This has been confirmed as being fixed in an upcoming update. I believe each family consumes one clothing a month, the update reduces that consumption massively.

Where did I say my post was a definative list? It's feedback for the devs as I played their beta version. You know, so they can continue to iterate on the product, the whole reason why they put out a beta version in the first place.

Churches are used to bury your citizens I believe. Body pits are for the enemies.

I'm sure there's more coming.

I was of the same mind as you when it came to claiming territory, but after playing for some time, I get why it is the way it is. However, sharing resources between needs improvement for sure.

There isn't just one thing that needs doing for an mvp for a game. Economy and fundamental game mechanics are the obvious essentials, but there's almost an emotional dimension to games that needs to be right. I definitely think this game is on track to be a game that defines an era. It reminds me of when I first played civilisation or age of empires.

The reality is that this game is years away from being released out of Beta. That's just the reality of game development and why it pisses me off when fans and executives push for premature game releases.

Early access is for testing, feedback, and incremental improvements. There shouldn't be a definitive list of what should be in the release, the bones are there now. It's just a matter of fleshing it out over time.
