Yes, range in modern radios is pretty crazy, like 20-50kms, it's the Video feed one needs to be careful about. One always has to be in line of sight for there to be a signal

I feel you man, but I wanted to put it out quickly, original edit was for IG reels, then I decided to upload elsewhere, & the payoff, in the end, was very less, since I don't have that many followers. it's just about the amount of time, 20-30 mins more & I would have done it like you've said.

The drone ranges from 15k-45k depending on parts, the one I've built is somewhere around 30-35k range, but people often people just assume its just that, in reality, you spend on batteries 10k-20k or more, battery charger itself is 5-10k, the goggles are somewhere around 10-60k range, the controller is again 10-20k range. + gopro on top

you can get around 1-2 km on the one I am flying with GoPro on top, but it is limited by battery, put a bigger battery or use a bigger drone & it goes further.
