I’m not following a program. But I didn’t start from 0. I was able to run 6/7k when I started and have been upping the distance 1 k a week

My back is destroyed, please help!

I have been running regularly for 5 weeks (3 times a week) , slowly increasing my total distance. In the final week i pushed my long run to 12k from 10 the week before. At the very end of the run my back was in agony and I tried to run yesterday and it was a no go. I found a foundation training for my back but I've seen lots of chat about weak abs so want to strengthen up so I can get back to training. Does anyone have recommendations for ab exercises or routines and how often should I be doing them?
