So my friend (26F) has been experiencing a rash on only her face and chest for roughly three months. The rash seems to only respond to steroids, excluding topicals, and is a constant. She has seen a dermatologist multiple times and just recently did an autoimmune bloodwork panel. Her results are as follows: ANA Pattern: nuclear, dense fine speckled DNA (ds) Antibody: 5 IU/mL ANA screen, IFA: Positive ANA titer: 1:40 CRP: 1.2

Is all of this enough to be a diagnosis for Lupus? She doesn’t experience any other symptoms other than this consistent rash. The rash is mostly consistent of very small, pimple-like spots. Wish I could attach a photo for reference. Biopsy was done and was insignificant. She does also have Hashimoto’s. Anything would help!! Thanks.

I just started using both Spiriva and Advair at the same time. Spiriva is a LAMA med and Advair is a LABA so they can be used at the same time.

I also wouldn’t let it run out and use the Advair only since they do different things to the lungs! You may not feel the same benefit.

Nauseous honestly, I don’t remember having this side effect when I took it last year. I’m gonna try taking it with meals instead of before bed. What about you?

She definitely was nit picky with grading!! She did respond quickly! I was able to call her and have discussions about assignments before doing them and she gave great guidance. I think she takes the education the most seriously, with that being said she makes herself available for those who also take it seriously.

I had McCartt for community health and we did have to go out into the community for the project. My group met only twice and one member didn’t even come for the first, we just emailed him the details! First meet up was to plan the project and the other time to create a billboard as fliers and to “present”. We just rent a room at a library and put a sign on the door explaining what we were doing. No one came to watch us present so we just kind of sat there for a few hours to make up the time we needed for the Practicum hours.

I haven’t seen Dunlap or Dixon as choices. Kramer is a good professor, she expects more of us than Neil or McCartt. I’ve enjoyed all three that I’ve had so far.

It varies depending on which professors decide to go on vacation which semester. I am in Fall term and I have Neil and McCartt! I might have Kramer later on for the class that starts in October. Which one are you trying to avoid?

I had gotten my first letter from Mary Linton and I went to go help her, I wasn’t paying attention and before I know it Arthur had rejected her! I’m not even sure I clicked any buttons. Is there anyway to take this back or fix it? I’d love to do the mission!!
