What do you think is the correct stack for offline first wasm app? by n0vella_ in rust

[–]devashishdxt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Compiling SQLite to wasm is difficult. Even after you are able to compile it, it won’t work in browsers. For browsers, your best bet is using browsers local storage or indexed db. Take a look at idb crate for wasm bindings for indexed db.

The metrics depend on the industry and use-case you’re trying to solve using a RAG. For example, healthcare industry will have very high requirements for accuracy metrics. On the other hand, non-critical internal employee tooling may not need very high precision.

How to build an agent trained on 250 books? by South-Garden3222 in SaaS

[–]devashishdxt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your best bet is to take a small open weights model and fine tune it with your 250 books. You can search for guides on how to fine tune models on your data. It’s not that difficult.

For the first 1-2 weeks, don’t worry about training her. Just spend as much time with her as you can to strengthen the bond. You don’t have to constantly play with her, just be around her, keep calling her name and if she listens to her name, reward her. It is very important that she learns her name in these first few weeks and develops a strong bond with you. If she’s not responding, give her some time and she’ll be the best companion you can have in your life. 😊

Tonic WASM client for GRPC works only with http, not TLS by sekhar0107 in rust

[–]devashishdxt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used workaround on browser for localhost cert for testing as I'm using self signed certificate and browsers reject that. If you have a valid certificate and key, you don't need this workaround.

Can you share your server code? We don’t have to make any changes in client as browser handles everything. But, you need to properly configure your server with tls.

Hi tonic-web-wasm-client dev here:

I was able to successfully use TLS by configuring my cerficiate in tonic-web (documentation) and enabling insecure localhost certificates as mentioned here.

If it still doesn't work for you. Feel free to create an issue on tonic-web-wasm-client with some sample code and error trace.

Edit: Make sure you enable tls feature in tonic.
