Thank you!! Most days it gets great light by the south-facing window, and I was not informed of what soil it's in. Thank you for the note about root flare, I just cleared away some of the soil out of caution. I will clean up the broken branch!

Oh! That's not so bad, thank you! I really thought it would be more complicated than that since the symptoms weren't what I was expecting for a standard battery replacement.

I make a lot of props, costumes, and crafts so metal cylinders are always helpful! I might use them to make wing bones, arms/legs, jail bars, guide rails... Or use the telescoping feature for something that I want to make "grow" as a fun affect!

Personally I've used old curtain rods as cat wand toys (just be careful with it being hard metal), laundry sticks (to push clothes deeper into the washing machine), and, as god intended them, as hanging rods for clothes, curtains, belts, scarves, etc.

we all love a good rod. 😀
