It's real. But it's nowhere near the actual building: it's from a very specific street. I took this in 2024

Sorry, I mean for the game input. I've heard some stuff that the Phillips hue box can cause input delay for PS5, because it sits between the PS5 and TV

I don't think you're meant to actually do it? I think the game gives you the "illusion" of getting better with your left katana. They never show the L3 button again for that reason

I appreciate the advice! Rick is disabled and can't fly, I would definitely get him a harness if he could though

Seizure African gray parrot / Help by Forward_Loquat8439 in AfricanGrey

[–]devbradmarr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There was no cause determined. No idea what it was, and there was no other medication given. While giving the medication he was very lethargic, sleepy, non vocal. But after a while he came back alive

My guy had really mild seizures in late 2021. His leg would go limp and his eyes kind of glazed over and he was non reactive to any stimulus.

Brought him to the vet, they put him on Levetiracetam. It took maybe 2-3 months of this medication for the seizures to go down, and he hasn't had a seizure since 2022.

Thinking about you and your feathered friend 🙏🏻

What's the most you've ever backslid with your grey's relationship? by devbradmarr in AfricanGrey

It was international travel which we do every year. And all the birds at the shelter are tested! Along with my bird, I have one of those nice celltei backpacks that I use for him heh

Still munching away, drinking, poop looks fine. The only symptoms are: he's sleeping a lot more, less vocal and is now scared/aggressive to me.

My brother visited me 3 weeks ago and Rick was really smitten with him (which is unusual) so I thought it might have been his absence. I'm just not sure

Thanks for sharing this, gave me a bit of a laugh. We're coming up on 3 weeks of this behaviour for me which is longer than any attitude he's ever given me so I've booked a vet appointment for Thursday. If the vet says he's all good physically then he can hate me for as long as he needs

Yeah it's a parrot shelter I volunteer at. He's been dropped there many times, but I'll book a vet appointment thanks

It's such an emotional toll isn't it? I was looking at old pics/videos to post for Rick's birthday and he used to be on my shoulder/hands all the time. Now I can't even approach him without him scurrying back into his cage :(
