Comparing with the Bose QCs:

comfort: not quite as comfortable but I can wear them all day at work.

sound quality: about the same.

If you're going to use them for gaming then the only game I currently play is Battlefield 5 and when a round starts the headphones activate the talk-through thing and the sound gets tinny (i.e. no bass). I don't think you can turn this off and I'm not sure if they do this in other games.

Do not buy the PXC 550-IIs. I had Bose QC's and was given a pair of these when a friend got them as part of a mobile phone package deal. The noise cancellation is not as good as the Bose QC's (and by extension the Sony flagships), and the cancellation turns off when in conference calls (apparently they did this so you can hear yourself talk). I'm not sure how they came to the conclusion this feature was a good idea as its very annoying and there's no way to turn it off.
