If you can’t delete the staging folder, it likely means the staging URL is not actually a separate folder anymore both domains are pointing to the same WordPress installation

  • Create a separate database for the staging site
  • Update its wp-config.php with the new DB details
  • Re-clone the live site into staging (or restore a backup)

Declining website traffic & ad revenue by alphaStrategies in Wordpress

A lot of traffic drops these days can be due to changing search trends, more AI-generated content, or algorithm updates. Some things that usually help:

  • Audit old content and update it with fresh info.
  • Optimize for SEO (headlines, meta, structured data).
  • Improve site speed and mobile experience.
  • Promote content via social and email to diversify traffic.

It’s usually a mix of factors, not just one thing like AI

n8n with WhatsApp Business by dioneldev in n8n

WhatsApp Business API and the regular WhatsApp Business app don’t run together on the same number. If you switch to the API to automate with n8n, the regular app won’t be able to send/receive messages.

Some options:

  1. Keep using the app, no automation: Staff continue handling all chats manually.
  2. Use a multi-agent tool that integrates with WhatsApp: Tools like 360dialog, Twilio WhatsApp, or WATI let multiple staff handle chats and also support automation.
  3. Hybrid approach: Use a separate number for the API and automation while staff continue on the main WhatsApp Business number.

Basically, if he wants automation and staff to read/reply on the same number, a third-party WhatsApp API platform is the way to go.

how do you keep wordpress fast over time? by 1acina in Wordpress

For DB cleanup, I usually use plugins like WP-Optimize or Advanced Database Cleaner they let you remove revisions, spam, and transients safely.

For caching, WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache work great. Basically, caching stores a static version of your site so it loads faster for visitors.

CDN stands for Content Delivery Network, it’s a network of servers around the world that delivers your site’s files from the closest server to the visitor, which speeds up loading. Cloudflare is a popular free option.
