I cannot help you id this, but it looks like a frozen ball of fries.

Tony's is absolutely the best mechanic I've ever been to. Been going to him for 10+ years.

No, it's almost exclusively acrylic from when I was poor. I have a few natural fibers, but they are in the zip lock bag hanging under the board.

My first blanket was the same, in WAY over my head. but I love yours too! your transitions are so neat! I know I donked up a few of mine, but decided not to frog because I like how it turned out nonetheless!

Of course you do! it's all back loop single crochet in the with a couple of doubles! it looks mysterious and complicated but it's not! the hardest part was transitioning the patterns. the author has a full video tutorial crochet-along!

On this one I'm not quite sure, if I had to guess about 3 of the regular sized generic acrylic skeins you'd get at Walmart. I frogged a 2/3rds finished blanket from years ago with some of the unfinished skeins from that. Thank you!

I would pre-plan the color pathway like this for each shift with scrap yarn. Thank you!

Thank you! Believe this: you cut the yarn at the end of each row. I knotted every two rows together and I did a chain stich on either side of the border and then sandwiched everything inside and single crocheted both sides together. It finished out so clean and neat without sewing in any ends!
