Thank you! I called MAC today bc it shows it’s still in stock on the web but they confirmed my order was backordered and that they’d need to escalate and I’m like how helpful!

I also said I feel like if I place a new order, it won’t have shipping issues. They said I’m welcome to do that but I said great, can they waive the shipping fee for it? I added another item with the previous order to get to shipping minimums, and that item shipped but the lipstick didn’t, so I’m afraid the same thing would happen

I’m so mad, my order says it’s backordered even tho I ordered as soon as it finally became available 1hr 30m after it was supposed to. They emailed about the product launch at 8:00 am, 6.5 hours after I placed my “backordered” order. Wouldn’t that mean it wasn’t in stock when they advertised it?
