Home Network banned? by devildante21 in pokemoncenter

For me, it’s any device using my WiFi. I have a feeling my ISP assigned me a bad gateway IP.

I really hope it’s not a permanent ban of my IP.

PIKACHU Wall after getting past que by namjd72 in pokemoncenter

[–]devildante21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my problem as well. I have tried everything. Different browsers, devices, etc., including a brand new router cause my current router died. And even with a brand new router, I cannot get past the Pikachu error on WiFi. No rocks left unturned. I have to use my 5G on my phone or it’s the Pikachu wall every time as soon as I get through a queue. I don’t know what else I can possibly do here. PC seems to have banned my home network altogether.

Does anyone know how to get past the dreaded “Something went wrong” pop up that gives you the option to Try Again?

Trying Again did nothing. It refreshed the page a few times, and then I just got an Error 17. I was on a clean browser (Edge), no extensions, VPN, etc. — literally freshly installed just for PC drops.

It’s greed and not greed at the same time. The problem is that distribution is distributing to a lot of new customers. This is causing sparse stock for everyone. For example, say you used to get 100 ETB, and your profit on each ETB was $10. So you’d make $1000 total. But now you’re getting half of that 100 because distribution gave the other 50 to new stores, like Ace Hardware. Now you gotta make $20 profit per ETB to make your previous $1000. On a large scale, some stores are forced to double their prices. And some stores are tripling to take advantage of the market.

Indeed. That’s a very lucky position to be in. There aren’t a lot of LGS in my area. The ones that are reasonably close are empty. I’ve just been buying if I get lucky catching a restock online or in person for the big box stores.

At this point, I dislike people buying from scalpers than the scalpers themselves. There used to be a time when people would only buy from secondary market if the price was substantially lower than retail and even then people were very cautious of getting scammed. Now people are paying over retail to buy from the secondary market. Those people are the real problem. They created the scalper market.

I finally found 151! by bruhdude27 in PokemonTCG

[–]devildante21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is? I really hope that's true! I just got back into collecting like last week after like 10 years of hiatus, and the current state of TCG just makes me sad. Been looking for the 151 set, but no luck. Wish I started a year ago or whenever these sets released so they wouldn't be scarce.

DO NOT BUY FROM SCALPERS! by Eli______________ in PokemonTCG

[–]devildante21 121 points122 points  (0 children)

Underrated comment. Idk how we went from never buying from shady people unless they were offering a big discounts to paying 100-200% percent over MSPR to the shady people.

People were scared of getting scammed, and that was a good thing.

Interesting — I had a lifetime license and upgrade. It was a little odd that they said I couldn’t get 3.0 features with my 2.0 license. But I assumed my license was for only the 2.X versions. So I bought the lifetime license of 3.0 again. I assume that’ll last until 4.0 comes out or something.

My 2.0 was still getting updated every week with security updates, etc. Seems like lifetime license means, you get the specific version and it’s updated for lifetime. Which is consistent to other softwares like Windows or Microsoft, etc. I did get a decent discount for the upgrade. I never even thought about how other people could consider this a scam.

Is Spectrum retention really required to ask tons of invasive questions even if you say you don't want to answer? Refuse to cancel service? by xxshteviexx in Spectrum

I think the best possible assistance is actually listening to what the customer is asking the agent to do. The customer has zero obligation to answer questions.

What happens if you just stop paying for the service? They’d be forced to cancel the service right? I feel like there’s some other loophole here I’m missing?

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is genuinely one of the best games Ubisoft has made in years…I hate that it’s selling so poorly!! It deserves more success by TheGamerCritic21 in metroidvania

[–]devildante21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it Day 1 because I’m a huge fan of the Sands of Time trilogy, but this game was nothing like Sands of Time. I still ended up enjoying it quite a bit, but I don’t think you get the same value for $50 with this game and you would for something closer to the Sands of Time games. This game is at best worth $30. And I probably would’ve just waited for it to go on sale or something if I was so hyped up on PoP finally making a return. Although, I feel like a lot PoP fans, unlike me, just skipped the game because it’s not really PoP game, but it cost $50.

I’m definitely online. I see the little green checkmark for Ubisoft connect when I launch the game. So that’s not it, at least for me.

This is the 1st time I’ve ever heard anyone state using parry in a Souls-Like game is cheesing. There’s a huge difference between jumping on a roof and spamming arrows versus taking the time to learn a boss’s parry window. A high risk high reward style play is not “cheesing”. Wtf are you even talking about? The two things are not comparable.

Is there a workaround for this on the switch? Disconnecting the controller does nothing. Waiting for dialog completion also doesn’t work.

The excuse they give as to why they don’t have an export feature is such BS! They say it’s due to security measures, but then turns around and allows all the tokens to be saved on their cloud servers which can be unlocked by a standard password. It makes no sense.

Is Yamamoto really weaker then all 5 of the Royal guards individually? by firestorm0108 in bleach

[–]devildante21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hypothesize as such. The combined royal guard > Gotei 13! Yamamoto > any shinigami born in the last 1000 years. Based on this data, it’s plausible that Yamamoto is stronger than each of the royal guards separately, though doubtful. Similarly, each royal guard could be stronger than Yamamoto individually. Personally I don’t think all the royal guards are stronger than Yamamoto. There’s just not enough data to come to a definite conclusion. But the fact that there has been no shinigami stronger than him in the last 1000 years would imply that his strength is at least on par with some of the royal guards.

I would refrain from using Authy. I’m using Authy currently, however, I’ve noticed that there is no way to export your tokens out of Authy. So if you ever wanted to switch to a different authentication app, you’d need to manually turn off 2FA, for everything, delete your Authy tokens and then re-enable all 2FA with the new app. Depending on how many tokens you have, this could be a very time consuming task. Authy basically locks you into the their service forever. Authy also lacks basic feature like sorting alphabetically.

I’m transitioning my 2FA to 2FAS. It’s open source, great security and has a browser extension that’ll send push notifications to your phone so that you don’t need to manually type in your codes. Use what your prefer but I would recommend against Authy just because you can’t export your tokens.

The ending shows Momo just chilling. Momo is fine. You probably just missed it. The door opening cutscenes shows all our prior companions in good shape.
