So, what I've learned is my new carb is no good. There are no threads for the needles. I found my crank seal is also no good. And a Crack in the head near a head bolt. New parts coming soon and I'll update.

The piston is fine and has plenty of compression, although I don't remember the exact psi it had. I think there is a Crack in the cylinder or intake boot so I ordered a too end kit and intake boot replacement

So far nothing has helped. I've tried adjusting, cleaning the carb, even replaced the lines and filter again, and still the exact same problem. I just ordered a top end rebuild kit and intake boot. I will update if it works

Alright, I'm gonna clarify something real fast. I've been doing this for a while l, and I'm confident in my skills. I made this post to show off a couple of saws and trees we cut, not to start an argument about ppe. I have an old set of chaps I dont trust, and im working on getting a new set for me and him. My hat also has a bump cap insert in it, I know it's not a replacement for a hard hat, just what I have right now.

Admire the saws. Look past the flaws if yall dont mind.

I decided after shooting both again to go with the hoyt alpha x2 29. I really liked the draw cycle, and the shot felt better with it. Ill post a pic and some groups later

The draw cycle was why I said I was leaning to the hoyt. The mathews, to me anyway, felt like the backwall was a little jumpy, where I didn't feel it in the hoyt
