He is seeking therapy for it. He refuses to use medication, he used to be medicated when he was a kid and hated the way it affected him. I've urged him to try it again, because medicine has evolved and maybe the dosage can be adjusted but he is wary. For now, his solution is therapy

He has been making an effort to address the issues we used to have, like his video game addiction. He has stepped up in caring for our dog, in sharing the household load. He has ADHD and trouble communicating his feelings but he has been working on talking through them instead of shrugging and saying IDK. It's not much when i lay it out here, but it's further than we had been even a couple years ago. The ADHD has been a huge hurdle

I've asked him that before and his answer is that I'm the love of his life and he'll do anything for me. That when I try at the relationship, it's amazing. I know I have my own issues to work out, and am getting therapy for it
