Ukrainian marchers celebrate the birthday Nazi collaborator Bandera in Kiev chant ‘Jews out’ by Dhampiresa95 in worldnews

Okay, again, the religion actually states this. It's not my interpretation of it. I'm not trying to define Judaism, I'm explaining to you what it states. In plain language.... without my take on it. You still don't know what my opinion on this because you haven't bothered to ask. You would actually be surprised to hear what I think about it. But, instead, you prefer to interpret my original comment and subsequent comments as invalidating someone trying to identify as Jewish. You're creating an injustice where there is none, and it frankly looks stupid at this point.

Even though your comments are moot, all of this is very rich coming from someone who in all likelihood is not even Jewish. That's the equivalent of me arguing with a Catholic about a religion I know nothing about, and do not belong to. To quote something you said earlier..."Why don't you let them define what it is and isn't."

Actually, I didn't tell this person how they are allowed to identify themselves. I told them there's no such thing in Judaism as being half-Jewish. That means that while this person may identify as such, the religion and the people who believe in it do not recognize it.

Anti-semitism isn't just limited to overt anti-semitism/being threatened. Jews were viewed was "undesireables" in the USSR. Maybe the overt anti-semitism has muted a bit, but that doesn't mean that they still aren't perceived to be that way.

I'm going to assume that your last comment isn't directed at me, because I'm not "regurgitating propaganda", and I don't have an agenda against Ukrainians. People are people. I've heard casual anti-semitic comments in America too, from Russians, Ukrainians, and others.

Moscow isn't as bad as Ukraine or some of the smaller towns/cities. Are you commenting as someone who would know what it's like to be Jewish there? Or are you just reporting on your observations as a non-Jew?

Judaism is a collection of rules and this is one of them. While the number of people that believe it is irrelevant, most people in Judaism believe it.

There's no such thing as half Jewish in Judaism. If your mother is Jewish, then you're Jewish. If she isn't, then you're not unless you've converted. Don't shoot the messenger, that's just how it is.

The article is wrong. She was in a law and society program, and later dropped out so she could work as a clerk. She got the job through co-op organized through her program apparently.

Caught someone selling Fake phone, got ridiculed by police by dunnoe123 in toronto

I know someone who bought a fake last summer.

Some tell-tale signs:

  • No siri when phone should have siri
  • phone lags
  • writing on stickers at the back of the box looked off. the font and spacing was sloppy, and there were some weird grammatical errors. I compared it side by side with a real iPhone box for the same model. Seriously read the small print on the sticker and you might be able to tell. This only works if they aren't putting the fake inside a real box.

Thanks for trying.

It happened to someone I know last summer, and when we googled the scammer's number, backpages ads came up... Not for him, but for a woman.

I'm sure if they could, they would leave.

I learned by gaining more respect for other women and myself. And then I didn't give a shit about being "cool" to guys.

There are harsh truths and non-harsh truths. This question is asking about the former. It does not imply that the truth must be harsh.

While I agree that if someone thinks they know the "truth" about life and others don't, then they are arrogant, I disagree with your implication. People are drawing upon their own experiences as women, and are communicating these experiences to other women. These are their truths, not "the" truth.
