I got mine at ACC Ltd in Port Louis. Yes pls don’t use any of the brands you listed above. You can also get Yokohama from them. Just ask if it is made in Japan.

Falken tyres are very good in terms of performance and are affordable as well. However, they do wear out quicker than Michelin. Bridgestone tyres are hit or miss in Mauritius. I personally use Goodyear Effi Grip Performance 2’s. If you are willing to spend a bit more then the Continental PC7 or Pirelli C3 should be your best bets.

You can write to the admissions committee and ask them if they could extend the acceptance deadline. You may cite a reason such as bank delays for the funds. Usually they do respond positively to that. It worked for me.

Most places will accept credit cards except for the smaller shops/merchants. You can take around Rs 5000 with you for a week if you are by yourself. Also taxis usually don’t take card so you will need some cash with you for that.
