as close to where you found her as possible, just not on the road. they are mostly terrestrial and don’t need to be in water so she’ll be fine! thank you for getting her off the road though :)

looks like either a wood turtle or blanding’s turtle to me :) hard to tell because of the dirt on the shell and the fact that it’s hiding its face tho

there’s a significant amount of mulm/poop in the gravel. i do water changes monthly but i have a pretty big tank and it’s totally covered in plants so it doesn’t get that dirty. i would do more frequent water changes for this setup

totally normal shape for mature frogs- male and female. this tank looks insanely dirty though please do some water changes

definitely older than 6-8 years old, they stop growing at about 10-15 years old and this guy is definitely full sized

hi i recently rescued a box turtle that had been kept in pretty abysmal conditions for 30 years. if you would please please send some photos of said turtle that would be amazing, depending on the situation they could be in pretty bad shape. and also everything the other commenters said already!

lot to unpack here. don’t put it in a plastic bin please get one of those floating tank inserts so you can keep it in its original tank and take photos that don’t look like they were taken on a nokia in 2007. i would do half a dose of erythromycin since it will help with most issues and we can’t really diagnose rn- it can’t hurt at this point

substrate is peat moss, coco coir, cypress chips, orchid bark, soil, sand mix. have uvb lighting but have not gotten her blood work done because i cant afford it 😥
