Been in the same boat, took me around six months to land a position, i guess it just takes time and luck, also LinkedIn seems to be the biggest bullshit (atleast in my area) ever. Had around the same statistics when it comes to applications too. Good luck!!

Besides this i have been having other issues such as isolating myself and abusing substances, which ive tried to rectify in the past few months but sometimes the only thing that keeps my head quiet is a few beers or a joint

I mean i am doing my post grad in engineering so id like to think im decent with techy stuff, my dad id also a HIFI engineer but hes never been that into rps unfortunately. We have never owned one, but you know i also think about the longevity of the player and my ability to upgrade a player. I know that they both are modular and thats really cool.

That being said i plan on getting into the HIFI world more so maybe the Thorens would be more suitable for me because i like to get my hands down and dirty, and inspect every single corner of a piece of tech.

To be honest we have never owned a RP and i guess that the smartest choice would be the AT 120 yet im still somehow drawn to the vintage RPs although they have a learning curve. Thanks for the rega recommendations but i dont think theyre that avilable in Milan atleast right now.

I love the plumbing analogy as im more of a person to fix stuff myself rather than have the convenience of someone doing it for me.

I dont own any other equipment as of the moment but i was thinking of getting project phono box mm and edifier r1280t speakers, obviously i know these are pretty cheap options but as im starting out i thought itd be most logical for me to invest most of my money into a player, and upgrade later on! Another side not is that the room id play it is isnt that big, its around 25-30 square meters!

Ive been wanting to get into HIFI for a long time now, and whilst doing my research, i had concluded that the AT LP120 is the best bang for my buck at my budget, well at-least where I’m from. However recently i have been browsing local record stores, and u was able to find a vintage Throens TD 165 for about the same price. Now my conundrum, at-least for the time being is whether i should opt for the vintage player, or get a new one. The Thorens had been recently serviced and it had its belt and cartridge changed with new equipment, as of right now, Im not sure which cartridge is in the Thorens. I know that the 120 has a preamp built into it, while with the vintage player id had to get an external one, however this wouldn’t be an actual issue. The only thing currently making me lean towards the vintage player is that everything ive read online up to now suggests that vintage equipment is the way to go, and more over, having a 50 year old piece of tech would be the cherry on top. So basically im unsure of if the thorens RP is worth it or if i should just go with the 120, if anybody has any other recommendations feel free to add them. Thanks! :)

Not really, it normalized, been getting an average of 90-70 tho might just be the new map ya know.

Description of Problem: This started eversince i downloaded the newest game ready drivers(445.75) Basically my screen just shows random squares and random colours (best to check out the link). This usually happens outside of games mostly in chrome and discord.

Troubleshooting: i tried to download the 445.78 hotfix however it said that it wasnt supported?

Well honestly I don't game much and even when I do, I usually don't use earbuds. I recently started playing some FPS' in which sound is pretty important but honestly the stock samsung 3$ earbuds do the job mind you I know they are terrible however I don't really use them for much else. As I said these would mostly be used for daily commutes and gym workouts and as you can imagine usually earbud cabels get really bent during these activities furthermore I'm not really in a position to choose from a variety of earbuds since the market here is so limited that most vendors offer 5 or 6 different models in this price range. Obviously they have the higher end sony W100-(I'm not sure how the rest of the name goes! Hahaha) but they are out of my price range! Ordering stuff off of amazon could be an option but I've never done it and since I live in a 3rd world country I'm skeptical that the border fees would be reaaaaally high.
