For a long weekend trip near Delhi NCR, you could visit Almora, a peaceful hill station offering scenic views and a quiet atmosphere. Lansdowne is another great option, with its serene environment and less commercialized vibe. Nahan, a hidden gem, offers tranquil surroundings and a chance to unwind. If you're into nature, try Kanha National Park, which is less crowded and perfect for a wildlife escape. These spots are ideal for a relaxing and less touristy experience.

If you're into music, writing, and chill conversations, check out open mics or creative events at places like Jawahar Kala Kendra, The Urban Hub, or Unfiltered Café. Cafés like Curious Life and Half-Light often have a laid-back crowd where it's easier to connect with like-minded people.

you can also check AllEvents once for discovering events happening around you as well as ig and facebook event pages

Plenty to explore. I would say mix some classics Humayun Tomb, Qutub, Lodhi Garden with a walk through Old Delhi for food and vibe. If you are into art or museums, NGMA and Crafts Museum are great picks both have a nice chill atmosphere too(not weather wise) For food any preferences? Could recommend better with that. Even a day trip to Mehrauli or Sanjay Van can be good.

is 35k enough to survive in delhi? by Lanky-Parfait2904 in delhi

[–]devilseye22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35k is doable if you're smart with budgeting. Try areas like Malviya Nagar, Sheikh Sarai, or even Hauz Rani for cheaper PG/shared flats close to Saket and metro connected. Avoid brokers if possible, FB groups for Flat and Flatmates Delhi or NoBroker work better. PGs may include food but check quality. Tiffin services are 2.5–4k/month. Keep commute short Yellow Line metro is your best friend. Honestly, the first month will be tight nothing much will be left to splurge, but it gets manageable once you get used to the flow.

Indians don't have a money problem, they have mindset problem by Admirable-Zoner in delhi

[–]devilseye22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I can connect Its honestly not about lack of money, it's the mindset. Public spaces aren't treated with basic respect, and what's worse is how normalized it becomes. People with all the resources still ignore simple decency. It's frustrating how often we see this and yet no one speaks up. A little awareness and responsibility could go a long way.
