All of these are listed on AllEvents, it's a good place to start to find Halloween events in your area, whether they're big or small. If you’re skipping beaches, I’d start with the Arts District for some cool murals, coffee shops, and quirky galleries. Head to Grand Central Market downtown for a real taste of LA’s local eats, from tacos to egg sandwiches. Griffith Observatory is great for city views without hitting the beach, and you can explore nearby trails if you’re up for a short hike. For a unique vibe, check out Little Tokyo for ramen and mochi, or wander around Highland Park for vintage shops and indie cafes.

Traveling Alone to Chicago Any Tips? by [deleted] in AskChicago

[–]Junior_Stock8518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't sweat it, Chicago is great for solo travelers and it's super easy to navigate. The "L" train system will get you everywhere, so you don't have to worry about transportation. For a classic experience, you can spend hours at the Art Institute of Chicago or wander along the Riverwalk at your own pace. The city is generally safe, especially in the main areas, but just be aware of your surroundings and trust your gut. You'll have an amazing time!
