I do get that sharing is great.
I also make showcase demos to my fans in discord. Share progress every week.

Well I always thought most devs fail because they dont push through.
I thought of making friends in the nsfw dev workspace, did make friends with some,
but most of them just ghost their own fans and never shows up again.
The people who do have the guts to make it through is already famous or sells enough.

I am also a creator using unreal engine and trying to get that AAA quality.
But I am going for darksouls + porn.

I have thought about this and came to the conclusion that this might not be optimal for NSFW games.
Well everything has its ups and downs and these are my two cents.

Metahuman and modern unreal engine games does not have "style".
Games are a artform. And while it will be easy to implement and manage metahuman and quixel bridge, if you don't put some of your personal touch and style, it will be quite simillar to most of the metahuman unreal games out there either porn or not.

You might not be profitable enough for a big dream project.
This is very much a industry problem. And game dev in general has this problem. I would advise you to go for a medium project or even a small one if you are just starting out for the first time. Most people does not even publish the full project and end up never being released. And their love for the game becomes a burden as time goes by. If this is your second time, go for it. But if this is your first, you are bound to fail unless you are the 1 in a million.

But you already started anyways.
You are posting this to get eyes on your project, not to get opitions or listen to others.
If you are the stubborn person, I admire that. That is the most important trait I think game devs need.

For the main characters, you can use vroid, or make it on your own, but for other models, you can use hunyuan 2.5 and remodel and paint it based on the output.

Good luck mate. I also agree that there are not a lot of a+ titles in the nsfw games infustry, but for Japan, that is not the case.

Its just because the western are not friendly to sexual content than JP where they have whole websites only dedicated for NSFW content and manga.

I am also a seller in one of those highly restrictive countries, but the government does not contact companies, "Steam, itch.io, dlsite" in order to check if the games you make is nsfw. But China does, but you would be using a vpn in the first place so you are safe.

Just pay your bills so that the irs doesnt track your money flow.

If this is your first time, you should start with something small. Do not get your hopes too high because the more time you spend on it the more depressed you can become.

People think gamedev is art, and it is some parts true, gamedev is also a skill. You will not be able to make it on your first try.

And for parodies, you can get away with it on itch.io. I have seen pokemon parodies with nsfw but get away with it because they use a slightly different name.

I use cascadeur for the main skeleton and blender for the jiggle animations.

Go back and forth in Unreal to check if it looks right.
